Co-hosted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet, and Global Canopy, the event will feature two pioneering initiatives:
The State of Andhra Pradesh in India has pioneered a new nature-based technology by successfully implementing the world’s largest community-managed natural farming program. Currently, 1 million smallholder farmers are transitioning to zero synthetic chemical and non-pesticide-based natural farming, to reach 3 million more by 2029, covering all 13000 villages
Global Canopy and Cornell University have developed a pioneering investment framework focused on the private sector to unlock nature-related opportunities and drive a global turnaround for nature across all sectors of the real-world economy.
