IGGAARL was established in the year 2022, in Pulivendula, Kadapa, and is the first of its kind in India. It is an institute like no other and focuses on democratizing science, by ensuring that farmers are key stakeholders in the scientific process.

RySS, in collaboration with the Government of Germany and Government of Andhra Pradesh, is the decided authority, as, Project Executive Agent for IGGAARL. The Indo-German Academy conducts research on agroecology and will disseminate knowledge by training and capacity building, for our farmers.
